Transporting the machine to another site

WARNING

Risk of serious injury or death!

When transporting the machine on public roads, always load the machine onto a trailer or truck with a ramp and a suitable winch.

Make sure the machine is properly secured to the trailer or truck using appropriate tie-downs and anchors.

To properly secure the machine in a trailer or truck, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the box carriage assembly locking lever is in the LOCK position.

See "Box carriage assembly locking lever".
  2. On the HMI home page, select Manual Control > Hoist > Lower.

This offloads tension on the hoist strap to ensure the carriage is fully supported by the mechanical carriage lock.

  3. Lower the machine’s frame so that it is completely resting on the ground.

On the HMI home page, select Manual Control > Mobility > Lower.

The machine self-stops when it reaches the full-down position.

  4. Ensure the machine is fully powered down.

    See "Powering down the machine".
  5. Secure the machine to the trailer or truck using the following straps:

    • Ratchet strap around the front frame bar (1 strap)

    • Ratchet strap around each axle (2 straps)

    • Bungee cord securing the cleat toward rear of trailer (1 strap)
