Box carriage assembly locking lever
The box carriage assembly locking lever is used to lock the main testing carriage and offload the hoist strap when the machine is not in use.
When not in use, the lever must be in the LOCK position. To properly position the lever to the LOCK position, using the HMI, follow these steps:
-
From the home page, select Manual Control > Hoist > Raise.
The hoist raises the carriage to the full-up position.
-
Manually rotate the box carriage assembly locking lever to the LOCK position.
-
Select Lower.
The hoist lowers the carriage on to the lock lever, to relieve the tension in the hoist strap.
Before conducting any tests, the box carriage and weight stack must be disengaged from the frame. This is done by moving the box carriage assembly locking lever to the UNLOCK position.
Using the HMI, follow these steps:
-
From the home page, select Manual Control > Hoist > Raise.
The hoist raises the carriage to the full-up position.
-
Manually rotate the box carriage assembly locking lever to the UNLOCK position.
A spring-loaded pin on the backside of the lever engages with an indent on the frame to indicate the lever is in the UNLOCK position.
Caution
Risk of damage!
The lock lever must move freely with the hoist raised.
Do not force the lever into position. If the lever does not move freely, contact Biocore.
