Moving the machine to a new test location

Caution

Risk of damage!

To prevent damage to the field, do not repeat tests in the same location on the field.

The machine must be moved at least 4' (1.2 m) before doing another test.

To move the machine to a new test location on the field, follow these steps:

If machine is attached to towing vehicle:

  1. Ensure the machine’s frame is raised off the ground.
After a completed test sequence, the frame should rise automatically.

To raise the frame, on the HMI home page, select Manual Control > Mobility > Raise.

  2. Ensure there are no objects under or around the machine.

  3. Proceed to tow the vehicle to the new test location.

If the machine is not attached to a towing vehicle, attach the machine to the vehicle or a towing dolly.

See "Move the machine from storage to the field".

Notice

When towing the machine on and around the field:

  • Travel at less than 10 mph.

  • Make large radius turns greater than ten yards, especially when on the field.

  • Ensure there is enough clearance under the machine frame.

  • Use the handles provided when manually moving the machine. Do not push on the side panels of the machine.

  • Ensure the surrounding area is clean of debris and obstacles.

  • Ensure that there is no person standing or walking in the vicinity of the machine.
