Caution
Risk of injury!
Only trained personnel are allowed to use and operate the machine.
The machine must be operated in accordance with the information and safety instructions in this manual.
The machine does a series of automated tests and collects data that help you assess the quality of the playing field.
A typical series tests done by the machine
|
Test type |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Rotational cleat test |
The cleat is pushed into the playing surface using a known load. The cleat is then rotated about the testing arm axis. The stresses in the testing arm are measured. |
|
Translational cleat test |
The cleat is pushed into the playing surface using a known load. The cleat is then moved translationally relative to the playing surface. The stresses in the testing arm are measured. |
|
Impact test |
The impact hammer is dropped into the playing surface using a known load. The stresses in the testing arm are measured. |
|
Moisture (natural surfaces only) |
Probes are lowered into the playing surface and measure the volumetric moisture content of the surface. |
|
Temperature |
The machine reports the ambient air temperature around the area being tested. |
|
Infill depth probe (artificial surfaces only) |
The machine reports the infill depth from a datum when the machine is lowered. |
